When the king grows exceedingly concerned that his high-spirited, independent daughters are in need of more structure to fulfill their royal duties, he invites his cousin Duchess Rowena to move into the family's castle. Rather than help, Rowena forbids the sisters from doing what they love most — dancing and singing — and essentially strips them of their individuality. Luckily, the princesses discover a magical enchanted world and escape the tyranny of Rowena, but all must soon return to their home when Genevieve receives word that her father's life and the fate of the kingdom are in danger.
