Welcome to HKToyz.com! We first opened in early 2006, and have since had thousands of extremely happy customers. We started our business on Ebay in 2003, and made the move to a standalone website. We will soon be known as KidSamurai , with an all new website interface; watch for an announcement of that in early 2008.

Placing your first order

When designing HKToyz.com, we had 2 main goals: Make products easy to find, and make orders easy to complete. I think you will find that we have accomplished both goals. Here is a quick walkthrough of how to buy products from HKToyz.com. 

Find your product

There are two ways to find the product you are looking for. You can simply enter the name of the product in the Product Search field, if you know what you are looking for. This is found on the left hand side of the site, below the main categories. Alternatively, you could do an Advanced Search ; this way, you can set which categories you want so search within, set more than one word, etc. It is all explained on our Advanced Search Page.

The other way to find products is to simply go through the categories we have listed on the left side of the site. First, select your console, then the category. If you are looking for games, choose games. For some consoles, we offer games from different regions. Just find the one you want, and go from there!

Alternatively, you can always contact us if you don't know where to look, or if you need any suggestions on a product. 

Add items to your shopping cart

A typical product page looks like this:

At the bottom of the page, you will find the Add to Cart button. Beside it, you can set the quantity you'd like to add. Simply click this button, and it will be added to your shopping cart !

You can view your shopping cart at any time, by clicking the SHOW CART button on the main index on the left side of the site. You can even see it in the image above.

When you have an item in your Shopping Cart, the page will look something like this:

From your cart, you can click to continue shopping, or go directly to the Checkout. Both links are at the bottom of the shopping cart.

The Checkout System

Checking out your order is also very easy at HKToyz.com. All you have to do is follow 4 linear steps, inputting the correct information at the time. From there, you will be brought directly to Paypal, where you can pay for your order. NOTE: Your order will NOT be complete unless you finish the Paypal step! We do NOT accept ANY other methods of payment at this time. Paypal is the quickest, safest way to pay for products, both for the customer and us. You can use your credit card, just like at any other website, but Paypal offers their very own highly secure system to facilitate credit card payments. 

Logging In

If you are a returning customer, there is no need to enter your shipping and billing information all over again. Simply log in using your email address and password that were assigned to you when you made your first order. If you lost your default password, simply visit our Lost Password page to recover it. Remember, your Username and E-Mail address will both be the same. Once you complete this form, a new password will be sent to you. If you are having problems recovering your password, simply contact us and we'll help you right away.

Tracking Your Order

Not all orders will have tracking information. In order to keep shipping costs low (and we pass this on to you), we will normally ship via standard airmail. For higher-value orders, we do use registration. So far, we have not lost any orders at all, except a few to Spain, and in those cases the customers have been reimbursed. Customers in Spain are now required to upgrade to registered airmail on all orders.

When registration is used, we will add the tracking information when we update the status of your order. You will receive an email to the address you registered with which includes the status update, and tracking information if any.

The new version of the PSP is here, known as the PSP Slim or PSP-2000, and we have all colours in stock and ready to go! So far, Sony has only released 1 or 2 models in USA, Canada, and Europe. But in Japan and Asia, they have released 5 different colours, all available as stand-alone units without the need to buy a package including games, memory cards, or anything else.

All PSP-2000 units are region-free, and come with variable voltage adapters. The Japan version comes with a plug that will go directly into American and Canadian outlets, and the Asia version uses the same type of plug used in the UK. Check out or selection of PSP-2000 consoles!

The sequel to one of the more popular DS games is here! Lost in Blue was an innovative adventure game that had garnered a bit of a cult following over time. However, the game was discontinued before the sequel was release, so we had a lot of customers asking if we carried it. Eventually, I ended up selling my own personal copy because so many people were asking for it!

Thankfully, the sequel is finally out. Lost in Blue 2 has the same type of game play as the first version, but with many features added that fans of the first game were asking for. You can now battle many types of animals, and there are new extreme weather conditions. There are more skills to learn, and even some mini games playable over Wi-Fi!
